Dimitra Patsioti (Δήμητρα Πατσιώτη) is an architect, vocalist and interdisciplinary artist based between Paris and Athens. Her work unfolds at the intersection of voice, sound, space and performance, bringing artistic practice into dialogue with interdisciplinary academic research.
As a vocalist and performer, her repertoire moves between Mediterranean musical traditions and international repertoires, with performances in concert venues in Greece and abroad. Alongside her research in musicology and architecture, she explores the conceptual and methodological relationships between sound and spatial experience, investigating how musical principles can inform architectural composition and the creation of new spatial narratives.
For her, space and sound constitute interconnected systems of composition: every space contains a dynamic structure, and every voice holds the capacity to articulate it. Their interaction shapes both her performance practice and design approach, generating experiences and narratives that extend beyond the boundaries of the stage.
